Point-of-Care Testing (POCT)

Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) is a system which allows a quick diagnosis on site where the sample is collected without transferring it into a lab. In the case of nucleic acid molecular diagnosis, a sample is transferred to lab and a diagnosis is made through stages of nucleic acid extraction, nucleic acid amplification, and detection. HK Genomics is developing a quick molecular diagnostic system for POCT.
