Anti-Taq DNA Polymerase Monoclonal Antibody

This product is a monoclonal antibody (IgG) to Taq DNA polymerase for use in hot start PCR. The antibody was derived from a hybridoma (mouse originated) and purifed by afnity chromatographic step from the culture media (DMEM). Isotype is IgG1 Kappa. When mixed with Taq DNA polymerase, it inhibits the polymerase activity and prevent non-specifc amplifcation derived from misprinting of primer dimer before PCR cy-cling. The antibody is denatured during the initial denaturation step, so there is no need for a special denaturation step. This antibody provides convenience PCR that en-hances the specifcity and sensitivity.
